How does viewpointsystem.com work?
By gathering a number of job orders and combining the subjects or advertising films
in a technically and organisationally optimum way to present them to a number of
different test persons from the target group, we produce a large overall job, which
is much more efficient to process than, for example, a single film analysis order.
By enabling numerous customers to share the costs of the testers, film makers and
video evaluators as well as the high tech hardware, our top-quality eye-tracking
product can be offered at unbeatable prices. With the exception of the test persons,
here at viewpointsystem.com we only work with our own certified staff in our own
eye tracking laboratory - this ensures high quality, keeps procedures short and
therefore keeps costs down.
What does viewpointsystem.com show in the eye-tracking
analysis films?
Using our viewpointsystem evaluation system, we determine the quality of the gaze
behaviour; that is, we look into the films and show the elements seen by the test
person, which represent appropriate recognition or perception. Elements not seen
by the test person cannot be recognised or perceived.
What is the advantage of qualitative eye-tracking
analysis compared with usual methods?
The advantage of determining the qualitative gaze behaviour using the viewpointsystem
method is that an eye-tracking analysis film shows what the test person has seen
and, above all, hasn't seen.
Questioning is therefore unnecessary, as what would a test person be able to answer
about what they haven't seen, when they don't know what they haven't seen? With
a eye-tracking analysis film we know what the test person hasn't seen.
How does viewpointsystem examine the subjects/films
submitted?
The test persons requested on the order form are selected and given a short viewing
test in the eye tracking laboratory. After calibrating and setting the viewpointsystem
equipment, the test persons are shown a variety of subjects and films. The test
person does not know anything about the subjects or films they are being shown,
nor for what purpose, in order to achieve the greatest possible objectivity.
Are 3/ 5/ 10/ 20 test persons not too few?
No, thousands of eye-tracking analyses have proven the view equivalence theory originally
put forward by Prof. Pfleger.
The visual physiology of test persons within a target group is similar, as is the
way they see things. As it is a matter of determining the qualitative gaze behaviour,
3 test persons are all that is needed to provide information on the suitability
in terms of visual physiology of a subject/advertising film.
Can I also have my subjects/advertising films designed,
laid out or edited by viewpointsystem.com?
Unfortunately not. We are an eye tracking laboratory that gives you recommendations
on eye tracking on film and in words. We only work with finished data.
What do I get when I place an order?
Under "EYE TRACKING FILMS" you will see selected samples of the products you can
purchase.
Do I get a CD/ DVD of the eye-tracking analysis film?
No; you can download your eye-tracking analysis film under "MY ACCOUNT", in "COMPLETE
ITEMS".
Do I get an order confirmation?
Of course, when you place your order you will immediately be given an order
confirmation including an invoice as required by the tax authorities./p>
How long will it be until my eye-tracking analysis
film is ready??
We require 3-5 working days from when your order is placed to produce the finished
eye-tracking analysis film. We make every effort to keep delivery times as short
as possible.
Can I send viewpointsystem a CD/ DVD?
No, please use the modern media to effect an efficient transfer. You will save money
and time, and will not incur any transport costs!
Are any other products or special processing methods
available?

How will I receive my eye tracking film?
You will receive an e-mail from us as soon as the eye-tracking analysis film is
ready for downloading from your customer folder. If you have not logged on to our
website within a week from completion of the eye-tracking analysis film, you will
receive a reminder message by e-mail or SMS.
Will my eye-tracking analysis films be saved/archived
following completion of the order?
You can download your eye-tracking analysis films at any time within 60 days of
the last order under "MY ACCOUNT", in "COMPLETE ITEMS". If no further order has
been placed within 60 days of the last order, it will be deleted from the user account.

Can I get it more cheaply?
It is practically impossible to get it more cheaply. If we observe a constantly
high order volume, we will be pleased to draw up an individual quotation on request
(from approx. 25 orders a month).

What payment methods are accepted?
In partnership with www.mpay24.com we offer an https encrypted system in which you
can select any form of payment.
Are my payments secure?
viewpointsystem.com handles its transactions through mpay24.com, an internationally-recognised
Internet banking interface using https encryption, that is also approved by the
Austrian banking system. viewpointsystem.com therefore has no access to any bank
or credit card details except for what can be seen on the statement for the account
into which payments are received.
Upload / Download
How can I transfer my image/film data?
Please use the upload function included in the order form. A unique "Upload ID"
is generated for each order placed in the web shop. This ID identifies your data
on our web server and ensures secure allocation to your order.
This Upload ID is shown when ordering and in your order confirmation (e-mail) and
can also be found under your order history in your customer account. You cannot
complete an order without using the "Upload" function.
IMPORTANT! After you have entered in full all data for your order and finally uploaded
the file, you must press the "Into the shopping basket" button and made your payment;
the data cannot now be modified and only then will the order be processed!
Should you have problems with your upload, please e-mail us! We will be pleased
to help you.

ACCOUNT", in "COMPLETE ITEMS" and can be downloaded from there.

Data information - checking/errors
Is the submitted data checked?
Yes, the data is checked for functionality and recognisability. During preparation
for the production of eye-tracking analysis films your data is checked by our experts
for its usability for eye-tracking analysis. We will not notify you following our
data check unless we find an error. Only if the data is unusable will we contact
you (generally by e-mail) and agree with you how to proceed.
Error in the analysis file
We only check the files transferred for functionality and readability. If the files
to be analysed are unreadable, we will contact you, but will no longer be able to
guarantee compliance with the original delivery deadlines.
Spelling or printing errors in the subject of the film
We do not give any guarantee in respect of spelling or printing errors.
Data formats
In what image resolution should I send my files?
Basically, there are no limits. We recommend a resolution of at least 72 dpi, to
be able to ensure flawless quality during the viewing.
In what film resolution should I send my files?
Basically, there are no limits. We recommend the usual image resolutions 640x480,
PAL-TV 720x576, or an HD image format. Higher resolutions ensure better quality
when viewing.
In what film resolution will I receive my eye-tracking
analysis films?
Your eye tracking films are produced as Quicktime.mov files, in PAL TV format with
720x576 pixel resolution.
Can I also have my eye tracking films produced in
other formats?
Unfortunately not. The automated processing, which enables us to keep prices low,
means that only the aforementioned format is possible.
In what file format should I upload my images?
We can read almost all file formats. We can only use PDF or EPS files as vector
files. Important: all lettering and graphics must be embedded. We recommend using
the following formats for transfers to us: bmp, gif, jpg, png, tga, tif, pcx, psd,
eps, pdf.
The file is not uploaded until payment is transferred at the end of the order procedure.
We use the fastest possible server, but nevertheless recommend you send a .zip file.
The file size should be a maximum of 10 MB.
In what file format should I upload my films?
We can read almost all file formats, but recommend using the following formats/codecs
for transfers: mov, mp4, avi (divX, h264, mpeg2, Xvid), flv.
The file is not uploaded until payment is transferred at the end of the order procedure.
We use the fastest possible server, but nevertheless recommend you send a .zip file.
The file size should be a maximum of 250 MB.
Can I bundle my data using zip or rar?
Of course. We can process ZIP or RAR archives. Please do not use SIT files. Please
do not password protect files.
Can I send typesetting formats (e.g. produced by
QuarkXpress, InDesign, CorelDraw, Freehand, Illustrator) or files from Office programs
(such as Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Publisher)?
Unfortunately not. We can only process PDF, TIFF or JPEG files for eye tracking
analysis.
Can I also send Photoshop files (*.psd)?
That would not be a problem as such. However, because of their processing functions
such as layers, paths and masks, Photoshop files are larger than e.g. JPG files.
Please therefore save Photoshop files as JPG or TIFF. This will also prevent the
possibility of layers not being seen and the associated content for analysis being
missed.
Can I also transfer a multipage TIFF?
No, unfortunately not. TIFF files must contain one page only. If a multipage TIFF
is nevertheless transferred, only the first page will be printed.
Privacy
Are my files safe?
Your files are sent to an sftp server and placed in your individual customer folder.
During processing by viewpointsystem.com the data is only examined in our eye tracking
laboratory.
Is my data handled with confidentiality?
Information today is important to keep abreast of the market, especially when it
comes to advertising! viewpointsystem.com guarantees that it will handle this data
with confidentiality and that all employees who deal with this data are also instructed
to observe this secrecy obligation and confidentiality declaration. Business secrets
will only be passed on in the case of a court order from an Austrian court, and
then only if it is unavoidable.

by video editors for correctness and operability. However, despite our high quality
standards, if a problem does arise, or should we deliver something that is not to
